16 Year-Old Girl Dies in Traffic Collision

Los Angeles: On May 12, 2005, at about 3:40 p.m., a 16-year-old girl was killed in a traffic collision in Woodland Hills.

The 16-year-old was driving a 1997 Nissan Sentra southbound Topanga Canyon Boulevard in the area of Collins Avenue when she collided into the rear of a parked pickup truck. The Nissan Sentra continued in a southwest direction and collided with a tree and then a pedestrian.

The 16-year-old driver was transported to a local hospital where she died as a result of her injuries. The 35-year-old pedestrian was treated for minor injuries. Two minor passengers in the Nissan Sentra were also treated for minor injuries.
