Memorial Ceremony to Honor LAPD Officers who made the Ultimate Sacrifice

Motor officers will direct the media to park on the west side curb of Academy Road.

Why:
The rank and file of the Los Angeles Police Department, the community and family members of fallen officers will join together to honor LAPD Officers killed in the line of duty. Included in the formal Memorial Ceremony will be the "Walk of Heroes" procession, a twenty-one rifle salute, the "missing man" formation helicopter fly-over and the symbolic sounds of bagpipers playing Amazing Grace and buglers playing Taps.
