Amber Alert is Issued for a Kidnapped Teen

Los Angeles: A 16-year-old teenager was kidnapped by her former boy friend, who is a parolee at large.

On May 27, 2006 at about 8:00 p.m., the victim, Gloria Conteraras a 16 year old Hispanic female was walking with a group of friends in the parking lot of The Plant Shopping Center at 7884 Van Nuys Blvd.

The suspect Ednaul Rios, her former boyfriend drove up to her and her friends and ordered her to "Get in or he would kill her." When she did not comply with his demand, he got out of the car, grabbed her by the hair and forced her into the car and drive off at a high rate of speed in an unknown direction on Van Nuys Blvd.

Ednaul Rios is a parolee at large and an admitted member of the Crazy Rider Gang. He is a 26-year-old Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has brown eyes and shaved head. He has pierced ears and the letters "CMS" tattooed on his back.

The vehicle is a 1991, Black, 4 Door Nissan Maxima with damages to the driver's door, tinted windows and Chrome wheels.
