Automated Photo Red Light Enforcement Program News Conference

What:
News Conference announcing the installation and activation of the photo red light traffic enforcement camera within Operations-Valley Bureau.

When:
Thursday, May 10, 2007
10:00 a.m.

Where:
Intersection of Sepulveda and Victory Boulevards, northwest corner of the intersection.

Councilmember Tony Cardenas, Council District No. 6
Commander Jerry Szymanski, C/O, Operations-Valley Bureau

Captain Dave Baca, C/O, Emergency Operations Division
Lieutenant Charles Carlton, Emergency Operations Division
Sergeant Matthew MacWillie, Traffic Coordination Section

Why:
The Los Angeles Police Department has new automated enforcement cameras at the intersection of Sepulveda and Victory Boulevards. The news conference will highlight the system's capabilities and advise the motoring public of its existence.

DVDs from the equipment manufacturer will be distributed to the media at the conclusion of the news conference. The DVD details the features of the new system.
