Why:

The opening of this state of the arts facility will allow Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles County Sheriff to bring the diverse components of the two agencies crime labs capabilities together in one location. It allows for additional space to incorporate principles of design to optimize work flow and improve efficiencies.
