LAPD Car Show and Recruitment Fair

What:
2nd Annual "Five-O for Teen" car show and Recruitment Fair

When:
Sunday, May 20, 2007
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Where:
Leimert Park
4305 Degnan Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA 90008

Councilman Bernard Parks, Eighth District
LAPD Officers
Los Angeles Urban League

Why:
Officers from the Southwest Community Police Station are hosting their 2nd Annual Car Show to raise funds to benefit Los Angeles youth programs.

This community event is designed to promote partnership between the LAPD, L.A. Urban League and the community by increasing awareness of our youth and adult programs and job opportunities within our organizations.

Classic cars and motorcycles will be on hand.

There will be a booth for LAPD Recruitment as well as food vendors, fun and games for the kids and live entertainment.
