Young Man Killed Shooting

Los Angeles: A 24-year-old Los Angeles man and his passenger were shot at while driving Friday night.

Around 9:30 P.M., Wayne McKinney and his friend were driving north on Vermont Avenue approaching Slauson Avenue. As they approached Slauson Avenue, a male Black suspect was walking northbound on the east sidewalk of Vermont Avenue. As McKinney and his friend drove past the suspect, the suspect shot into the vehicle killing McKinney. McKinney's passenger was not injured.

The suspect and weapon are outstanding and the motive appears to be to be gang related.
