WHO: Captain Phillip Tingrides, Commanding Officer
Southeast Area Police Officers
WHY: The Los Angeles Police Department Southeast Area personnel will be playing softball against residents and employees of the Nickerson Gardens housing development. The game is intended to improve relations with the community.
The first game took place on April 23rd where Nickerson Gardens team beat the LAPD team.
A barbeque is scheduled at 5:00 PM prior to the game.
Southeast Area Commanding Officer Captain Tingrides will be attending and playing in the game.
