LAPD Detectives Looking to Identify a Robbery Suspect in Hollywood NR13176cj
Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Hollywood Area robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of a suspect who committed a robbery in the Hollywood Area in early-May.
On May 10, 2013, the victim came into contact with the suspect in an apartment complex located on Russell and Western Avenues. When the victim and the suspect walked out of the residence, the victim discovered that his laptop computer was missing. When the victim confronted the suspect, he saw that the suspect had his computer inside of his jacket. When the victim tried to retrieve his property, a struggle ensued and the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times in the upper body with an unknown sharp object. The suspect eventually gained possession of the victim’s computer and left the location on foot.
The suspect is described as a 20 to 30-year-old male African American with black hair. He stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. The suspect has a distinctive bald spot on the left side of his head and the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
