The Cathedral of our Lady of the Angels will be opened to the media on May 14, 2014 starting at 7:00 a.m.; a Media Relations Section PIO will be at the facility to address any concerns.

General Media Parking for Services at Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels Media parking is available on Temple Street between Grand Avenue and Hill Street, on the south side of the street. Media overflow parking will be located on Grand Avenue between Temple Street and 1st Street on the east side of the street.
    
Absolutely no vehicle parking will be allowed on Grand Avenue, north of Temple Street.

Funeral Procession Route
Immediately following the service, the Department motorcade will lead the procession westbound on Temple Street, to south Figueroa Street. The procession will then continue westbound 3rd Street to south 110 Freeway.  It will enter 110 Freeway south and continue to south 405 Freeway. The procession will exit on Magnolia Street / Warner Avenue. It will continue south on Magnolia Street to Talbert Avenue.  The procession will then turn right on Talbert, the cemetery is approximately 1/4 mile (right hand side).

** Please remind the public that services are open to everyone, however, seating inside and outside the Cathedral will most likely be unavailable.  Tuesday is forecasted to be warm and sunny; please bring sun protection, and plenty of water.

Northbound Grand Avenue between 1st Street and Temple Street
