DETAILS:
The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 29 officers.  Twenty-five of the graduates will be LAPD officers. Of the 25, there are 20 males and five females.  The ethnic breakdown of the 25 graduates is as follows: six Caucasians, 11 Hispanics, three African Americans, three Asians (non-Korean) and two Filipinos.  Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks. Two additional graduates will be officers for Los Angeles World Airports, and two more will be University of Southern California public safety officers.
