Male Arrested for Child Pornography NR17140aj

May 11, 2017

Los Angeles: On May 10, 2017, Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department, Juvenile Division, Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, assigned to the Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, and Agents from the United States Homeland Security Investigations (HIS), Child Exploitation Investigations Group(CEIG), arrested 22-year-old Cushqader Warren for child pornography. Warren is a resident of the City of Los Angeles.

Investigators initiated the investigation into Warren as a result of information received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that Warren had been uploading images and video files of apparent child pornography. The investigation revealed Warren utilized an online computer game named Wizard 101 to contact children. Warren uploaded YouTube videos to entice minor victims into contacting him for a chance to win a free Wizard 101 game card. Once the victims contacted him, they were directed to produce sexually explicit videos so Warren could download them.

Warren was booked for violation of 288(a) California Penal Code, Lewd and Lascivious Acts, which is a felony. He is being held on a $1,000,000 bail.

This investigation is ongoing. Investigators believe there are additional victims of Warren.

The Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is comprised of 72 Federal and local affiliate agencies that detect and investigate child predators that use the Internet as a means to contact children or deal in child pornography. The public is reminded that any suspected inappropriate contact with a minor or knowledge of child pornography on the Internet, should be immediately reported to their local law enforcement agency or to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at (800) 843-5678, or missing kids.com, who will forward the information to the appropriate law enforcement agency on a nationwide basis.
