| Captain William Scott was appointed to the Department in October 1989. He has worked assignments in patrol, detectives, gangs, Operations West Bureau, Internal Affairs, Professional Standards Bureau-Special Operations Division, and the Office of Operations. Captain Scott was promoted to the rank of Captain in May of 2007 and since that time he has been assigned as the Commanding Officer, Mission Patrol Division, Special Assistant, Office of Operations and most recently the Commanding Officer, Mission Area. Captain Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He currently resides in the City of Los Angeles. |
