Judy DuVall has been a volunteer for the City of Los Angeles, Mission Community Police Station since May 2009. We are very proud to have her as our featured community member. According to Judy, the most meaningful part of volunteering is the relationship component and staying in touch with people. One can often hear Judy say, “It’s the people that this is all about”.
Judy retired from a medical manufacturing company, Septic Thermal Industries, after faithfully serving for 20 years as the Queen of Human Resources. Judy decided to use her retirement to make a long term commitment to serve the Mission Community Police Station. Her expertise and knowledge in administration has benefited our personnel greatly. Judy not only provides a great service to us with her skills, but she also greatly cares about the personnel and offers her support any way she can.
Judy is a proud and dedicated grandmother of four grandchildren. She often shares the great experiences she has with her family as they travel. In addition to the traveling that she does with her family, she enjoys to bake and crochet. Judy still manages to find time to volunteer at least two times per week plus the enormous amount of hours she has dedicated during special events. Words can’t express how much we appreciate having her as part of the Mission Family. |
