A patrol unit was called out to investigate a shooting in the 12100 block of San Fernando Road at around 8:40 P.M. When the officers arrived at the scene, they found the teen lying on the floor inside of an apartment suffering from an apparent stab wound. Paramedics rushed him to a local hospital where he passed away. His sister, 20-year-old Amber Reed was arrested at the apartment and charged with murder. She is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
