Critical Missing Woman NR11018 UPDATE January 13, 2011 Alice Shinkman has been located at Sepulveda Boulevard and Saticoy Street by a Van Nuys Unit. Shinkman was unharmed and returned to her caretakers. Los Angeles: The family of Alice S. Shinkman and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Mission Area officers are asking for the public’s help in finding the 67-year-old missing woman. Alice S. Shinkman was last seen at about 12:30 p.m. today near the intersection of Roscoe Blvd and Sepulveda Blvd in the San Fernando Valley. Alice is distraught about a proposed change in her living arrangements. She has alzheimer's disease and is a medication dependent diabetic. Alice Shinkman is described as a 67-year-old female white with dyed blonde hair. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 200 lbs. She was last seen wearing a black sweater with green markings, brown pants, and grey slip on tennis shoes, carrying a tapestry purse. There is a possibility that she boarded an MTA Bus. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Alice S. Shinkman should call Mission Police Station at 818-838-9800.
