Detectives Seek Additional Victims of Sexual Assault NR17120jh

Mission Hills: Detectives from
the Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission Division are seeking
additional victims who may have had contact with Jorge Enrique
Lopez-Maza, aka “Julio Ramirez-Sarmiento.”

On April 21, 2017, Lopez-Maza approached a lost six-year-old female
child inside a shopping center in Panorama City. He engaged in a
conversation with her, gained her trust, and subsequently lured her
outside into an isolated area of the parking lot. Lopez-Maza then
sexually assaulted her behind some metal recycling bins.

Jorge Enrique Lopez-Maza, a
26-year-old from Los Angeles, was arrested on April 21, 2017 and
booked for 209(A) PC – Kidnap to Commit Lewd Act Upon a Child.
Lopez-Maza is currently in custody and being held on $1,000,000
bail.
