WHY: Halloween is an exciting and fun day of the year for young children and adults. It is also an important time to be extra safe and vigilant due to potential safety hazards while walking around neighborhoods trick or treating. Parents, trick-or-treaters, and motorists need to be alert and cautious during Halloween to ensure the safety of all pedestrians so that everyone can have a fun and safe night. We will be providing Halloween traffic safety recommendations. This will include safety tips such as walking and looking both ways before crossing and choosing bright and reflective costumes that would stand out while trick or treating. We will display traditional wrapped candy. We will also be displaying edible foods and candies infused with THC.
