Opening of Joint Regional Intelligence Center

What: Grand opening of Joint Regional Intelligence Center

When: July 27, 2006, at 10:30 a.m.

Stephen Tidewell, Assistant Director in Charge, Los Angeles FBI
William J. Bratton, Chief of Police, City of Los Angles
Leroy Baca, Sheriff of Los Angeles County
Matthew R. Bettenhausen, Director of California DHS
Charlie Allen, Assistant Secretary of Intelligence & Analysis for the U.S. DHS
George Cardona, First Assistant U.S. Attorney in Los Angeles

Where: JRIC/JDIC Facility (west side of building, 7th floor)
12440 East Imperial Highway
Norwalk, CA 90650

Why: U.S. and Southern California law enforcement will have a grand opening of the Joint
Regional Intelligence Center.

If you have any questions regarding this event, please call Media Relations Section at 213-485-3586.

Parking for media vehicles and crew will be available directly in front of the building (alongside Imperial Highway).

The building is privately owned and its management request that no live shots or exterior photos of the building be taken. Photos are limited to the interior of the JRIC/JDIG space only.

Media will be admitted to the event beginning at 10:00 a.m.
