92-Year-Old Man Missing

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department and the family and friends request the public's assistance in locating 92-year-old Jose Paulino Ortega.

Mr. Ortega was last seen on May 30, 2007, at about 7:30 A.M., leaving his residence in the 8000 Block of Cedros Avenue in Van Nuys. He was headed to a recycling center in the area of Arminta Street and Van Nuys Boulevard.

He is described as a Hispanic with gray hair, brown eyes, 5' tall and about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing white pants and a green and brown checkered shirt. Mr. Ortega is described as being in good mental condition, but has suffered memory loss in the past.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Kris Tu, Missing Persons Unit, at 213-485-5381.
