Man Shot and Killed
Los Angeles: Authorities said 25-year-old Roberto Perez was fatally shot Friday evening while walking in the area of the 4000 block of South Vermont.
Just before 8:00 p.m., unknown suspects driving northbound on Vermont, in a dark color vehicle stopped next to Perez. The passenger exited the vehicle and shot Perez multiple times. Perez was struck by the gunfire and collapsed on the sidewalk. The shooter ran back to the waiting vehicle and fled northbound on Vermont
Paramedics responded and pronounced Perez dead at the scene.
The shooting appears to be gang related. The suspects and weapons remain outstanding.
