Brewer, 77th Street Regional Police Headquarters Community Room 7600 Broadway Los Angeles, CA 90003 WHO: LAPD Deputy Chief Kirk Albanese, Operations-South Bureau LAPD Commander Kyle B. Jackson, Criminal Gang Homicide Group LAPD Criminal Gang Homicide Detectives Family members of murder victims WHY: In August of this year, Chief William J. Bratton formed a multi-agency task force to pool resources and coordinate investigative efforts to combat a series of shootings in South Los Angeles. As a result of the task force, detectives were able to identify, locate and arrest three wanted murder suspects.
