23-Year-Old Man Killed While Driving His Motorcycle
Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in searching for additional witnesses who saw a traffic accident killing a 23-year-old resident of North Hills.
On October 30, 2009, at around 9:50 a.m., 23-year-old Raul Magana was traveling on his motorcycle eastbound on Parthenia Srteet at Etiwanda Avenue. He hit the rear end of a Toyota pick-up truck as it was exiting a private parking lot making a left turn westbound on Parthenia Street. Magana was thrown from his motorcycle and landed on the pavement. The 42-year-old driver of the truck immediately stopped and called 911 as required by law.
Raul Magana was pronounced dead at scene from his injuries by the Los Angeles Fire Department.
