Man Shot, Killed in Barbershop NR10137ah
Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Rampart detectives are searching for a shooter who walked into a Los Angeles barbershop yesterday and killed a man who was getting his haircut.
The incident happened at 6:38 p.m. when a Latino man wearing a blue hoodie walked into the Alberto Barber Shop located at 730 South Alvarado Street, removed a handgun from his waistband and opened fire on 35-year-old Domingo Reyes.
Reyes was shot in the head and the chest. Paramedics rushed him to a local hospital where he died a short time later.
Investigators described the suspect only as a male Hispanic. The motive of the shooting appears to be gang-related.
