LAPD Search for Missing Man NR10386kr

Los Angeles:  A local family and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) ask for public’s help in finding a 26-year-old missing man from Woodland Hills.

Kassaem Saleh was last seen near his home in the 5000 block of Greer Road.  He has not been seen or heard from in over two months.  On August 2, 2010, LAPD’s Missing Person’s Unit detectives received a call from one of Saleh’s family members who lives in New York. The caller told police they have not had contact with Saleh since June 1, 2010 and are deeply concerned about his welfare.

Saleh is described as a male of Middle Eastern decent, 5-foot-9, 149 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Saleh is asked to call the Missing Persons Unit, Detective Kristin Merrill at 213-996-1800.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7.  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477). Tipsters may also contact Crimestoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone.  All text messages should begin with the letters “LAPD.”  Tipsters may also go to LAPDOnline.org, click on "webtips" and follow the prompts.
