WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 21 police officers, with 13 males and eight females. The ethnic breakdown of the class is as follows: 11 Caucasians, 8 Hispanics, one African American, and one Korean. Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
