Hit and Run Driver Seriously Injures a Man NR10511gb Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Valley Traffic Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a driver who struck a male pedestrian in Van Nuys early this morning. At about 12:50 a.m., a possible white Nissan Maxima or Infiniti 4-door traveling westbound on Vanowen Street just west of Noble Avenue hit an 18-year-old male pedestrian on the roadway. The driver left the scene without rendering aid or exchanging information as required by law. Paramedics rushed the victim to a local hospital where he was listed in serious condition. Investigators have no further information on the suspect and the victim at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call Valley Traffic Division Detectives at 818-644-8020 or 818-644-8028.
