WHY:
Operations-Central Bureau hosted a six week Executive Academy for 22 representatives from the nine countries listed above. It began on June 28, 2012 and covered five main areas that provided insight into the internal workings of the Department:
- Structure of the LAPD
- Hiring/Training Process
- Professional Standards Bureau
- Use of Force/Force Options Simulator
- Emergency Vehicle Operations Course(EVOC)/Multi-Assault Counter-Terrorism Action-Capabilites (MACTAC)
