Missing Los Angeles Woman NR1312CJ

Los Angeles: The family of Mayra Duran and the Los Angeles Police Department requests the public’s assistance in locating Duran.

Duran was last seen on foot January 11, 2013, in the 200 block of Leroy Street, in Los Angeles.  Duran’s family is extremely concerned for her safety and advises that she has the mental capacity of a 13-year-old.

Duran is described as a 36-year-old Hispanic female with brown hair and brown eyes.  She is 5 feet tall and weighs around 110 pounds.  She was last seen wearing a grey sweater, blue jeans and brown boots.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Duran is urged to contact the Los Angeles Police Department, Missing Persons Unit, Detective Saiza at 213-996-1800.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247).  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).  Tipsters may also contact Crime Stoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone.  All text messages should begin with the letters “LAPD.” Tipsters may also go to LAPDOnline.org, click on "webtips" and follow the prompts.
