Police Looking for Child Molest Suspect NR13153rf Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department 77th Area officers are looking for a man they believe has engaged in a number of illicit sexual acts with under-aged females. The suspect is described as 27-year-old Melvin Ramos. He is a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He also has a scar on his left eyebrow. Police advise that anyone who may have seen Ramos should not approach him, but instead call 9-1-1 immediately. Anyone with information is asked to call LAPD 77th Division sexual assault detectives at 213-473-4807. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247). Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477). Tipsters may also contact Crime Stoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone.
