Why:
In an effort to reduce vehicle thefts Northeast Area Detectives along with representatives from LoJack are reaching out to the community to prevent auto-related crimes. Representatives from LoJack have partnered up with Northeast Detectives in locating stolen vehicles by giving away free LoJack systems to select victims of auto-theft related crimes. Several members of the community who were victims of Grand Theft Auto have been invited to install Free a LoJack System in their vehicles.

There will be a tracking demonstration for the media to showcase how tracking technology is one of the tools that our Department uses to combat auto theft.
