WHAT: The Los Angeles Police Department's Devonshire Division host an Anti-Drug and Anti-Bullying Rally.

WHEN: Thursday, December 8, 2016
9:00 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.

WHERE: Knollwood Preparatory Academy
11822 Gerald Avenue
Granada Hills, CA 91344

WHO: Los Angeles Police Baseball Foundation
LAPD Baseball Team Members
LAPD Devonshire Division Officers and Host Volunteers

WHY: This event is presented to the Knollwood Preparatory Academy as an acknowledgement of their efforts in adopting our "Just Say No" pledge campaign at their school. Students have written pledges about the importance of saying no to drugs, gangs, crime, and bullying.

LAPD officers will perform their "Just Say No" rap song around 10:20 a.m.

This rally promotes positive interaction between students, community members, and police officers. Police officers and community mentors would like to send a message of empowerment that will impact the lives of the youth by brightening their future, and help guide them away from the statistics of their community.

CONTACT: For more information, please contact LAPD Officer Michael J Scott, Event Coordinator, at (818) 456- 6416. Officer Scott can also be contacted by email at scott1soldier@aol.com or www.lapdbaseballteam.com.
