Man Shot to Death in Boyle Heights NR17227dm

Boyle Heights: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollenbeck Division are asking for the public's seeking in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting death of 21-year-old Jairo Rolando Recinos.

On Saturday, July 29, 2017, around 10:00 p.m., Hollenbeck Division officers responded to a radio call of a shooting on Bailey Street, just east of State Street. When officers arrived, they discovered Recinos in a pick-up truck, stopped on the roadway. He had sustained gunshot wounds and was unresponsive.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced Recinos dead at the scene.

There is no suspect description and the investigation is ongoing.
