Automated Photo Red Light Enforcement Program News Conference

What:
News Conference announcing the installation and activation of the photo red light traffic enforcement camera within Operations-Central Bureau.

When:
Friday, March 9, 2007
11:00 a.m.

Intersection of Vernon Avenue and Broadway, southeast corner of the intersection.

Why:
The Los Angeles Police Department has new automated enforcement cameras at the intersection of Vernon Avenue and Broadway. The news conference will highlight the system's capabilities and advise the motoring public of its existence.

DVDs from the equipment manufacturer, detailing the features and explaining how it is utilized to assist traffic officers, will be distributed to the media at the conclusion of the news conference.
