WHY:
Homicide Detectives are asking for the public's help in locating the suspect(s) involved in the murder of 37 year-old Benjamin Clemmons and 56 year-old Norman Strawder. On March 3, 2008 at around 5:30 a.m., both victims were approached by a suspect on foot and shot while they stood in front of 1749 East 54th Street. Both victims died as a result of their injuries.
A reward of $75,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) involved in this double murder.
