Pedestrian Killed by Hit-And-Run Driver NR15061lp

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect involved in a hit-and-run collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

On Friday, February 27, 2015, around 8:20 p.m., Valley Traffic Division officers responded to a hit-and-run traffic collision that occurred near the intersection of Saticoy Street and Lemp Avenue. The victim, a female White who has not been identified, was crossing southbound Saticoy Street when she was struck by what witnesses described as a white Toyota pickup. The driver of the Toyota pickup failed to render aid and was seen driving away from the area.

The victim died at the scene as a result of her injuries.
