Sunshine Kids Program Helping Children in Hopes of a Brighter Future NA13033kh

The Sunshine Kids 5k Run/Walk event

When:
Saturday, March 16, 2013
7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where:
1000 Elysian Park Avenue (Dodgers Stadium Parking Lot)
Los Angeles, CA 90012

Who:
Members of the Los Angeles Police Department
Members of the Galaxy Soccer Organization
The Lakers Cheerleaders
Television personalities from popular law enforcement shows

Why:
To promote awareness and assist children battling cancer. Participants will meet at the Elysian Park Academy parking lot and walk over to Dodgers Stadium parking lot for the 5k run. After the run, children will be escorted in police vehicles to the Elysian Park Academy athletic field for food, fun and athletic festivities.
