WHY:
Graduating officers have completed 912 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks. There are 32 males and 9 females in the graduating class. The ethnic breakdown of the class is 9 Caucasians, 13 Hispanics, 3 African Americans, 1 Chinese, 1 Japanese, 1 Korean, 3 Filipinos and 1 Middle Easterner.
In addition to LAPD officers, 3 Los Angeles World Airport Officers and 3 Los Angeles Port Police Officers will be graduating with the class.
