Victims Shot While Sitting in Vehicle

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
November 22, 1998

On Sunday, November 22,1998 during the late afternoon hours, victims Harlen Henry, described as a male, Black 24 years of age and a male companion were shot for no apparent reason while they were seated in a vehicle. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of west 75th Street. Henry and the male companion were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Henry failed to respond to treatment and he died as a result of his wounds. The companion was taken to surgery and his present condition is not known. The motive for this incident has not been established. The suspects are unidentified and remain outstanding. The name of the male companion is not available for release.
