Homicide in 77th Area

Thursday, November 5, 1998
On November 5, 1998 at 12:25 pm, 77th Street Division patrol officers discovered the victim, Angela Veronica Allen, (female, Black, Date of Birth: 02/25/70) sitting semi-conscious on the driveway in front of a residence, in the 1700 block of west 58th Street. The paramedics were called to the scene and discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to Martin Luther King Emergency Hospital where surgery was performed. The victim succumbed to the injuries and was pronounced dead at 12:49 a.m. on November 5, 1998.
The motive of this crime is unknown and the suspect(s) is outstanding.
