Suspect Murders South Bureau Victim After Argument

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Sunday, November 1, 1998

On Sunday morning, November 1, 1998, at approximately 2:00 a.m., the victim, Ralonzo Phelectron Cochran, was found dead in front of 2626 South Manhattan Place, Los Angeles.

Detectives have since developed information that Cochran was fatally shot after an argument. The suspect's whereabouts remain unknown.

The suspect has tentatively been identified as Norril Stephenson, a male Black, 5'3, 140 lbs., Date of Birth: 01/09/78. The suspect has a small scar on the forehead.

The detectives are requesting anyone with information regarding the homicide of Ralonzo Cochran or the whereabouts of the suspect to contact South Bureau Homicide at (213) 237-1310 or (213) 485-2504.
