LAPD Administers Entry-Level Police Officer Written Test in Tacoma,

Friday, November 26, 1999

On Saturday, December 11, 1999, from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., the Los Angeles Police Department will be administering the entry-level police officer written test in Tacoma, Washington.

The two and a half-hour test is broken down into two portions: a fifty question multiple choice English exam and a one hundred and fifty-word essay. There are no police related scenarios or mathematical equations, rather emphasis on English grammar and reading comprehension.

The police officer written test will be held at Tacoma Community College, located at 6501 South 19th Street, Building 4, in Tacoma, Washington. The testing will commence promptly at 8:00am and will be given on a continuous basis throughout the day until 3:00pm.
