LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Wednesday, November 24, 1999

On Monday, November 22, 1999, at 6:50 P.M, Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a "Shooting just occurred" radio call in the 10000 block of Arleta Avenue, in Arleta. Upon arrival, the officers discovered a shooting had in fact occurred at the location and investigated further.

The investigation revealed that two male white suspects entered the location, and shot the victim. Money from the residence was taken and robbery appears to be the motive at this time. Witnesses reported that the suspects fled in a dark blue pick up, unknown make, model and year. The victim is a 75-year-old resident of Arleta, and was transported to a local hospital where he received medical treatment for his injury.

The suspects and weapon are outstanding.
