On Saturday, November 13, 1999, at approximately 11:30 A.M., David Martinez, 30 years of age and a resident of Los Angeles was shot and killed. The victim and his cousin were driving southbound in the 900 block of Blades Street when the suspect, Danny Castaneda, fired one shotgun round at both victims.
