LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Monday, November 22, 1999


On November 18, 1999, after 10 P.M., the victim, William Stanley, 29 years old, was shot to death while watching television in his residence.

On November 20, 1999, at approximately 10 A.M. the suspect, Jesse Bernard Junior, notified the police that the victim was dead inside his residence.

The suspect was interviewed by Southwest Homicide detectives and was subsequently arrested and booked for the murder of William Stanley.

The investigation is being conducted by Southwest Detectives Frank Weber, and Stanley Evans.
