Missing Adult

On November 2, 1999, at approximately 10:30 P.M., Wilshire Area officers responded to a Missing Person's radio call in the 4200 block of West 7th Street. The family reported that the missing person left the residence upset at about 8:00 P.M. on November 1, 1999, and did not return. He was last seen by a neighbor in the area of Wilton Place and 8th Street in the company of two male Koreans.

As a result of a recent stroke, he is paralyzed on the right side of his body and walks with the assistance of a walking cane. He is described as being very despondent over his condition.

The missing person's name is Kil Hong Yong. He is described as a Male, Korean, Black Hair, Brown Eyes, 5'10", and 135 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, gray sweat pants, yellow shirt, and brown shoes. He is required to take medication that is vital to his well being.

Anyone with information that could lead to the location of this individual is encouraged to contact Wilshire Area Detectives at 213- 485-4033.
