WHY: Councilmember Rosendahl will announce a $50,000, reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) involved in the murder of
33-year-old, Armando Mariscal.
On October 14, 2007, around 4:40 p.m., Armando Mariscal and friends left a neighborhood bar and were driving southbound on Lincoln Boulevard. While stopped at Maxella Avenue, the suspect(s) driving a white utility van, possibly a GMC, stopped adjacent to victim’s vehicle and fired several rounds. Mr. Mariscal was struck and killed by the gunfire.
