Murder Suspects En-route to Los Angeles

"Murder Suspects En-route to Los Angeles"

On November 2, 2000, the Los Angeles Police Department received information from the Miami-Dade Police Department advising that two suspects wanted for murder in Florida were traveling to, or are currently in, the Los Angeles area.

The murder occurred on October 6, 2000, at 9:56 PM, when the two suspects confronted the victim at a sandwich shop. The victim, identified as 15 year-old high school student, was shot to death as he tried to run away from his attackers.

The suspects have been identified as brothers, Carlos Antonio Gonzales, DOB 11-04-81, and Eduardo Gonzales, DOB 08-08-78.

The investigation revealed that the suspects are en-route to, or are currently in the Los Angeles area, and may be attempting to obtain fraudulent identifications to facilitate their entry into Mexico.

The Los Angeles Police Department, Media Relations Section, has received photographs of the suspects. These photos are available to the local media for viewing.
