"Southeast Area Annual Awards Luncheon"

Los Angeles - On Friday, November 17, 2000, at 1:00 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department's Southeast Area will be holding it's Annual Awards luncheon at the Proud Bird Restaurant, located at 11022 Aviation Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Awards will be given to police officers, detectives, civilian employees and volunteers for the year 2000. Additional awards will be presented for the Southeast Area Gun Recovery Program and certificates will also be awarded to the recipients of the Stolen Vehicle Recovery Program.

Invited guests include Police Chief Bernard C. Parks, Mrs. Parks, Deputy Chief David Gascon, Deputy Chief Scott LaChasse, Commander Lou Gray and Mr. Dennis Frantz from the TV show NYPD Blue.
