"Drive-By Shooting Leaves 25 Year-Old Female in Critical Condition"

Los Angeles - On Sunday, November 19, 2000, at approximately 3:25 a.m., the victim, a female Black, 25 years old, was seated in a car which was parked in front of 1425 West 61st Street in Los Angeles. Unknown suspect(s) drove up and shot her. The suspect(s) were last seen driving away at a high rate of speed eastbound on 61st Street towards Normandie Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she is listed in critical condition.

The motive is unknown, and the suspect(s) along with the weapon remain outstanding.

77th Street Homicide Detectives Rocky Sato and Mason Burroughs are conducting the investigation. Anyone with information concerning this incident is requested to call 77th Street Homicide Detectives at 213-485-1383 or 77th Street Watch Commander at 213-485-2389.
